DSI PRESIDENT MARTY MALYSZ TO SPEAK ON "MONITORING AND PROTECTING YOUR LICENSING PROGRAM" AT 2010 LICENSING INTERNATIONAL SHOW

Los Angeles (April 22, 2010) - Seeking to help licensors, agents and licensees make the most of their existing deals, Marty Malysz, president of Dependable Solutions, Inc. (DSI), will bring his industry expertise to the panel discussion, "Monitoring and Protecting Your Licensing Program," taking place Wednesday, June 9th at the Licensing International Expo, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.  This education is part of "The Licensing University" program taking place throughout the show.

"Many companies have not yet realized how they can uncover missing revenue within their existing licensing deals and speed up the product approval process by implementing licensing industry best practices," explains Malysz.  "This Expo panel offers an ideal forum to discuss how licensors and agents can effectively monitor deals using automation, security labels, infringement techniques and stronger audit procedures to organize process and enforce licensing policies throughout the world."

The panel will cover a breadth of topics: from simple solutions to clauses in contracts including monitoring guarantee payments, unapproved product penalties, interest on late payments, caps on returns allowances, audit practices and security label programs - all helping licensors  increase their revenue streams and decrease expenses.  Joining Malysz on the panel will be   Geoffrey Potter, Esq., anti-counterfeiting attorney at Patterson Belknap; Vince McGuire, VP brand protection systems for Labeltex Mills; and Lewis Stark, partner and director of royalty & contract compliance at Eisner LLP.
