El Segundo, CA (March 15, 2011) - Seeking to help licensors, agents and licensees make the most of their international deals, Marty Malysz, president of Dependable Solutions, Inc. (DSI), will bring his industry expertise to lead a panel on "Improving International Licensing Practices," taking place Wednesday, June 15th at the Licensing International Expo, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.  The educational panel is part of "The Licensing University" program taking place throughout the show.

This conference session is geared to licensors and agents looking to improve their international operations, managing such transactional complexities as fluctuating currencies, international revenue recognition and foreign audit techniques.  The panel will cover a breadth of topics: from simple solutions to clauses in contracts including monitoring guarantee payments, unapproved product penalties, interest on late payments, caps on returns allowances, and audit practices - all helping licensors and agents increase their revenue streams and decrease expenses.

"Many companies can make minor changes in their licensing practices to uncover missing revenue within their existing licensing deals and expedite approvals to bring new branded products to each international market," explains Malysz.  "This Expo panel offers an ideal forum to discuss how licensors and agents can effectively monitor deals and stronger compliance procedures to organize licensing policies throughout the world."

In addition to Malysz, two additional presenters will lend their expertise in international licensing business practices, cross-cultural compliance and local accounting rules: Neena Gordon of N. Gordon Company, Inc. and Serj Dhami of Insight Licensing Services, Inc.
