New Version of Dependable Rights Manager Enhances Royalty Processes Around The World
El Segundo, CA (February 15, 2011) - With continual improvements to help consumer product licensing organizations streamline their business processes, Dependable Solutions, Inc. helps ensure that licensing professionals have the tools they need to increase revenues while keeping costs under control. The latest update of its flagship software, Dependable Rights Manager (DRM), offers major improvements in contract management.
Contract Granted Rights: The entry screen has been simplified, combining Sales Channel and Market into one horizontal area. The list screen has a new icon if the territory, sales channel or market list is too long to be shown on the screen. If you hover over the icon, the list will appear in a pop-up window.
Large Income Statement Processing: A new button, Remote Processing, allows you to process even very large income statements while continuing to work in other areas of the site.
Activity Logs/Notifications: These have been greatly enhanced with advanced search capabilities as well as the ability to add steps, allowing you to schedule nested activity items related to an event.
User Security: When selecting the new option Logged In Users, a list of all users who are currently logged into the site will be listed along with the time they logged on.
Content Library: The list screen now has two new columns showing the size of the image in KB or MB and a second showing the width x height in pixels, so you can predict the time it takes to access large images.
Product Approvals: Pdf image quality is increased for easier review, even if the pdf file has layers.
Associated Files: A new option, Paste and Save, allows you to save material from the internet by copying from the browser window and pasting into the text box.
Report Enhancements:
- New Executive Overview Report-Participation Share report shows the total guarantee by contract and the participation split for that contract.
- Contract Overview with Performance report has been enhanced with the addition of total net sales, royalties and any participation breakout.
- Past Due Royalty report shows future open royalty reports if a future date is entered in the date range, allowing you to manage open reports before they become past due.
- New Contract Status report exports directly to Excel showing contract status, Licensee, Contract Number, Licensor Main Contact, Agent, First Payment Amount, Total Guarantee, Contract Sent Date and Granted Right Notes.
- Product Development Statistics report has a new column, Not Submitted to Stage 1, which are submissions that licensees/agents have started but not yet submitted for your review.
- New Product Approval Custom Field report shows the custom fields used in approval stages.
