El Segundo, CA (February 15, 2011) - With continual improvements to help consumer product licensing organizations streamline their business processes, Dependable Solutions, Inc. helps ensure that licensing professionals have the tools they need to lower payables.  The latest update of its flagship software, Dependable Royalty Manager (DRM), offers major improvements in contract management, measuring caps and chargebacks, and improving royalty processing for licensees.

Contract Granted Rights: The entry screen has been simplified, combining Sales Channel and Market into one horizontal area. The list screen has a new icon if the territory, sales channel or market list is too long to be shown on the screen. If you hover over the icon, the list will appear in a pop-up window.

Sales Statement: Remote Processing allows licensees the ability to process even very large sales statements in the background while continuing to work in other areas of the site.

Chargebacks Processing: When modifying chargebacks, only those with a non-archive status are initially loaded in order to quicken load time. You can quick-check a box that can be selected to view archived items.

Past Due Royalty: This report shows future open royalty reports if a future date is entered in the date range, allowing you to manage open reports before they become past due.

Contract Status: New report exports directly to Excel showing the contract status, Licensee, Contract Number, Licensor Main Contact, Agent, First Payment Amount, Total Guarantee, Contract Sent Date and Granted Right Notes.

Activity Logs/Notifications: These have been greatly enhanced with advanced search capabilities as well as the ability to add steps, allowing you to schedule nested activity items related to an event.

User Security: When selecting the new option, Logged In Users, a list of all users who are currently logged into the site will be listed along with the time they logged on.

Associated Files: A new option, Paste and Save, allows you to save material from the internet by copying from the browser window and pasting into the text box.
