Dependable Rights Manager is our core licensing-out module that centralizes all intellectual properties and property groups for licensors and agents tying them to specific contract parameters, trademark registrations and all related financial transactions. With DRM in place, you can track all correspondence with licensees, potential licensees and manufacturers. All licensed contract information is organized into an easy-to-use wizard-based contract database showing you all licensed properties, products, skus, territories, sales channels, guarantees, provisions and associated documents.
Dependable Rights Manager – Multi-Office extends the ability of our standard DRM system to larger licensors and agents who have offices in multiple locations or different division handling different rights. With one instance of DRM, you can manage separate portfolios of trademarks while sharing common attributes of your organization overall. Each office maintains their own attributes, such as currencies, date formats and information with local security within each virtual office.
Participation Manager module allows you to calculate and pay third parties, by contract, property, product or SKU. DRM Participation Manager allows you to calculate the net amount due a licensor (if an agent), or any other participant ( photographer, artist, etc.) when revenue comes in from a licensee. With DRM Participation, you can output summary or detailed statements due the participants and recoup any monies advanced to them each period. Note: DRM module is required.
Product Development module helps your creative department track all stages of a product through its approval process (concept, pre-production, production, packaging, etc.). Powerful workflow processes allow you to accommodate standard approval workflows and exceptions. Within each approval, you can track all relevant information supplied by a licensee back to the rights in the contract. During each approval stage, you can see all artwork with a markup capability, related files such as diagrams or safety instructions, and comments from all parties. Note: required DRM module and recommended DRM Access Manager for licensee interaction.
Content Library module provides you with the ability to share approved artwork, style guides, manuals or any correspondence with licensees or sales professionals with streamlined and secure download facilities. To maximize download speeds and minimize disk space, you can convert high resolutions graphics files in Adobe Acrobat into high resolution pdf files. Since DRM Content Library is a standalone module, you exchange information freely with third parties such as licensees, advertising companies, sales representative, etc. DRM Access Manager is recommended for third party interaction with DRM Content Library.
Access Manager module opens your catalog of information to licensees manufacturers and thirdparty agents to participation in the product approval process (DRM Product Development), load periodic sales reporting ( DRM) and access creative files in your DRM Content Library module. Each DRM Access Manager user can only access information which you have granted to the user to view, modify or upload/download files into/out of your DRM application.
Catalog Manager module helps you give visibility to your licensed products from one or more licensees and territories showing fully approved products. DRM Catalog Manager is helpful to retailers, distributors, sales professionals and other licensees to see what products are available for any intellectual property.
SKU Inventory modules helps licensors who have licensed product which you may need to supply their direct channels or web sites. DRM SKU Inventory allows licensees to communicate directly with the licensor on inventory levels and locations so you can facilitate the supply of licensed product through your channels.
Ecommerce helps licensors who want to supply product to their distributors or consumers online with full shopping cart functions. Products are quickly sorted by brand and keywords to locate products and place/fullfill orders. You can estimate freight charges, discounts, specials and email customers on seasonal items.
Services:
Remote Royalty Services helps licensors or agents to enter licensee contracts, sales and correspondence each period and run required reports from DRM. These services are especially helpful during crunch times or when you have resource turnover.
Quickstart Services gives licensors and agents additional resources to setup your DRM system quickly or to help supplement resources on key projects. Over 50% of new installations utilize our experienced DSI personnel to transition over to DRM while they continue to manage the daily tasks in their operations.
Programming & IT Services helps DSI clients add functionality to our DRM applications implementing new functions to meet specific business requirements. Additionally, DSI technical personnel assist in converting your data from any system into the DRM MS SQL database formats.
